My name is Eleanor Fay Nicholson aka Life in CMYK.

‘CMYK stands for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow & Black – the 4 colours used to create colour prints. My blog was born out of love for design, styling & photography. Taking homewares, products, travel experiences & making them look their best is what I’m all about’

I run this blog and pack it as full as I can of beautiful & minimalistic content. My adult job is being Co-founder of Oslo Agency, a creative agency based in Leeds, Yorkshire. Make sure to check us out if you’re in need of any branding or design, social media management, web design, email marketing or any help in general with getting your business seen online!

I’m a firm believer that worldly knowledge is the best type of knowledge and so I try to travel as much as possible. Sydney, Florence, Verona and Interlaken being some of my favourites. The sooner I can get to check out the minimal design styles of Scandinavia too, the better. I have now been to Scandinavia. CHECK!

My hidden talents include:

  • Snowboarding
  • Dancing
  • Playing the guitar, drums, piano & flute (high school throwback)
  • Handstands

Whilst completing my degree in Design & Colour Psychology, I interned in both Leeds & London working on Design & Social Media with brands such as Gucci, Fendi, M&S, Hugo Boss, Sephora, Ted Baker, Vogue, iD magazine, Tatler,  Zara, Dazed magazine, Neäl and Wølf & Kryolan. I have also worked in the electronic music industry and for companies whose social media clients include the likes of Calvin Harris, Duke Dumont, Disclosure, Deadmau5 and Leeds & Reading Festival.

I sincerely hope you enjoy my blog. Catch me on twitter to say hi. Or you can contact me by any of these means.
